Automated Aquaponics Project

    After the first time of learning about Aquaponics I wanted to build a system for myself in hopes of creating a cool project that would also allow justification to create automated systems. I started an Aquaponics system for myself at the end of July in 2013 and have been maintaining a system since it was built. 

    The Aquaponics unit is at my parent's house which is about a hour away from my apartment. The automation was key to keep an eye on how things are doing because I am too busy with work and school to drive to my Aquaponics system often during the school semesters. Fortunately I have had the help of my family for many things related to maintenance. If everything were to fail today I would still be happy with the amount of fun I have had creating the automated systems that help me to monitor and run the Aquaponics unit.
