Real-Time Kinematic Positioning (RTS)

Running boundary wires every time my wife wants a new flowerbed or yard ornament is no fun. Setup GPS system that is accurate to a centimeter using RTS. The robot gets a GPS, and my shed is now a base station with its own "fixed" GPS that has been calibrated. The moving robot communicates to the base station to get corrections on its GPS readings.

The base station GPS has accuracy improved by having a flat plate of metal underneath. I had an old Apple monitor stand that looked pretty cool flipped upside-down and the aluminum is easy to tap threads into so.. Yeah, it's mounted to the top of the shed now.
